It all started in 1967, with six employees and a remodeled horse barn in Cary, Illinois.

Originally known as Graftek Press, Inc., a subsidiary of Devon Group, Inc., this company specialized in printing, binding, and fulfillment services to magazine, catalog, and commercial clients. Brown Printing Company purchased Graftek Press, Inc. in 1997. This purchase boosted Brown Printing into a top position among U.S trade and business publication printers.

The Woodstock, IL division offers many perks for its highly valued employees. On top of working for a state of the art technology based company, it offers an on-site fitness center and outdoor walking path.

The Employee Event Committee, a group focused on bringing the employees together for fun and appreciation, coordinates different gatherings throughout the year.
