Introducing ourselves:
Random House, the world’s largest English language general trade book publisher offers a casual work environment along with challenging and rewarding career opportunities as a Customer Service Professional in our Call Center in Carroll County! This is a regular benefit elligible position. The working hours are Monday thru Friday from 11:00 am - 3:00 p.m.
Job duties:
In this role, you will receive incoming orders, inquiries and issues from customers, sales representatives and other RH departments both internally and externally. Support the Sales Representative’s and the Customer’s by providing quick and accurate information to inquiries. Handle the call with the best possible customer service, using a minimum of call backs or call transfers. Responds to inquiries/customers using proficient communication skills both verbally and written.
Job requirements:
•High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
•2-3 years prior customer service and order fulfillment experience in a call center environment preferred.
•Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
•PC proficiency to include Microsoft WORD and EXCEL.
•SAP and MARC experience a plus
•Effective written and oral communication skills.
•Professional telephone presence.
Position hours include:
Monday through Friday 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
