Describe your educational background. Where did / do you study, what degrees did / will you receive?
I went to Italian schools for 9 years but completed the last 4 years in Germany with an Abitur. I hold a BSc in Economics from the University of Warwick and will enrol on an MSc programme in the UK this fall. I am currently taking part in the GapYear Programme.

Describe your career history. What have been your professional experiences?
I have had the opportunity to see a variety of industries and roles in different firms, among these strategy in consumer goods and M&A advisory for industrials.

What attracted you to Bertelsmann and your internships? What is / was your favorite aspect about your job?
Diverse and challenging tasks coupled with diverse people. As part of the GapYear Programme I decided that pursuing an internship with Bertelsmann would give me an insight into new areas that I never experienced before such as publishing and digital transformation.

What has been your most challenging / rewarding / exciting task or project thus far?
Being solely responsible for preparing a presentation/analysis for a senior executive without intermediaries.

What qualities do you feel are necessary to be a successful employee at Bertelsmann?
I think being driven is essential. Good people skills are also necessary to couple with the different types of people in the areas in which Bertelsmann operates.

What was / is a typical day during your internship like?
Working on projects/tasks assigned and lunch with BDMI interns or with colleagues; sometimes meetings and discussion of results.

What are your professional goals? Any others ;-) ? Grow expertise and skills to take on responsibility in the future and to make an impact. Also, to work with great people in a friendly and satisfying environment is a goal I have.

If you had one word to describe Bertelsmann – what would it be?
